Power Kits

PERRIN Staged Power Kits make it easy for the customer to increase their performance based on their budget. The Stage 1 Power Kits include an ACCESSPORT, Custom PERRIN Maps and a Panel Filter. The Stage 2 Power Kit includes a single piece down pipe and cat back exhaust. The Stage 2 Lite kit is equivalent to the standard Stage 2 Kit with the exception of the cat back exhaust. For the EVO X, PERRIN has engineered a Stage 3 Power Kit that includes an ACCESSPORT, Custom PERRIN Maps, PERRIN front Mount Intercooler, PERRIN Turboback Exhaust and an PERRIN Panel Filter. PERRIN Custom Tuned maps are made to be more aggressive than most and can add up to an additional 10-20WHP. They offer Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 maps in both 91 and 92 octane.

Boost Control/Blow Off Valves

PERRIN manufactures manual boost controllers, electronic boost controllers, and recirc blow off valves. The manual boost controller allows the customer to adjust boost simply by shortening or lengthening the boost controller body using PERRIN’s “twist-to-adjust” design. These controllers utilize ball & spring technology and come with a 5-year warranty. PERRIN’s EBCS Electronic Boost Controller was engineered to control modern designed wastegates with super fast response. These controllers are manufactured from aluminum and Stainless Steel for maximum resilience. The PERRIN EBCS Pro system is plug and play, includes everything needed for installation and comes with a 5-year warranty. The PERRIN blow off valves are manufactured from a single CNC machined piece of 6061 Billet Aluminum and feature adjustable relief pressure for custom BOV releases as well as the option of re-circulate or vent-to-atmosphere using speed density type ECUs. PERRIN blow off valves are extremely easy to maintain without the need of specialized tools and come with a 5-year warranty.

Brakes

PERRIN manufactures master cylinders for select Subaru models. The PERRIN Master Cylinder STIFFI is a quick and affordable upgrade that adds positive brake feel and increased style under the hood. The PERRIN Master Cylinder Support bolts from the brake master cylinder to the driver-side shock tower to give you a firm pedal feel. The STIFFI is machined from 6061 Billet Aluminum and given an anodized black finish.

Drivetrain

PERRIN offers several performance drivetrain products. The PERRIN Pitch Stop Mount contains a harder rubber compound than stock to help minimize engine movement during extreme conditions Their STi hardened motor mounts reduce the entire drivetrain movement under acceleration and deceleration, which efficiently transmits more power to the ground. The stiffer mounts also improve the reliability under drag racing and other extreme conditions that can tear apart OEM mounts. All mounts feature a harder rubber compound than stock and are an OEM replacement. The PERRIN Rear Diff Lock down (DLS) consists of 4 urethane bushings that lock the differential by stiffening the front and rear mounts for zero movement under extreme conditions such as drag racing and road racing. This DLS removes the twisting movement from the rear differential which can cause a "squishy" or spongy feeling at the point of initial acceleration. The subframe lockdown kit includes 2 urethane bushings, two metal sleeve washers and 2 bolts. They work together to solidify and lock the rear subframe in place, eliminating all driveline slop and that annoying thud from first to second gear. PERRIN knows it’s important to keep your rear end cool! So keep it cool with the PERRIN Performance Differential Cover. Made from high strength, heat-treated cast aluminum, their cover incorporates cooling fins to reduce oil temps, thus extending the life of your expensive differential. Additionally, the oil capacity is increased more than 30% over stock. All combined in a great looking design to positively accentuate your rear end! Perrin’s Group N hardened transmission mount reduce the entire drivetrain movement under acceleration and deceleration, which efficiently transmits more power to the ground. Engine

PERRIN’s OEM header/exhaust manifold to head gaskets are a metal crush style that should be replaced whenever the exhaust manifold is removed or replaced with a header. PERRIN’s Crank Pulley is machined from 6061T6 Billet Aluminum, anodized black or red and laser etched for increased belt life and a precision fit. The crank pulley weighs just 1.2 lbs, which is 4-pounds lighter than the stock OEM crank pulley. This reduction in weight from the crank shaft is equal to removing more than 100 lbs of vehicle weight! Throttle response, horsepower and torque are all increased with this easy to install part. PERRIN Turbo Heat Shields cover more of the turbo charger, leaving less of the exhaust housing exposed. Their shield covers the top of the downpipe, the sides of the turbo and sits snuggly around the wastegate arm. All to help keep heat under the shield where it belongs! The PERRIN shield uses spot welds, instead of rivets. When spot welds are done correctly, they will hold just as good as any bolts or rivet and will not loosen over time. PERRIN’s Turbo Blanket will increase turbo response and decrease under hood temperatures. As your exhaust temps cool down from thermal losses from headers and turbine housings, they loose energy and velocity. This reduces turbo response and also horsepower. The turbo blanket keeps the hot exhaust gases hot, which in turn keeps the velocity of the exhaust gases high, in turn improving turbo response. All while decreasing your under hood temperatures. PERRIN Aluminum Oil Caps are the perfect way to complete your engine bay. The simple design of their Oil Cap is the finishing touch to your engine bay leaving a clean and tasteful look. PERRIN’s Performance Radiator Shroud caps the top of the radiator for a sleek new look and forces all available airflow through the core. This lowers operating temperature and increases power. Available in silver, black or red powder coated aluminum. Both feature the PERRIN name laser cut into the metal for that custom hot/cool look. The PERRIN Performance Battery Tie Down is machined from Billet Aluminum with radiused edges and countersunk mounting holes.

Exhaust

PERRIN Performance mufflers have a true 3" internal diameter for uninterrupted exhaust flow. PERRIN mufflers and flange connections are 3" throughout the entire length, not necked down, for ultra smooth transitions throughout the system. An over-sized 4" slash cut exhaust tip adds an aggressive look to this impressive system. PERRIN exhaust tips are a high polished, single wall construction and will not dis-color with extreme heat. Crafted from 304 Stainless Steel, PERRIN down pipes use mandrel bent 3" tubing, insuring a streamlined exhaust flow. These downpipes use thick laser cut stainless steel gaskets. The thick flanges will not warp or leak during extreme driving and mate perfectly with stock or aftermarket components. Making crisp boost and throttle response when needed. PERRIN downpipes use a 200cell per inch metallic substrate catalytic converter. Unlike the OEM ceramic brick style catalytic converter, their converters have high flow rates and are guaranteed to take the extreme heat produced by high horsepower vehicles. PERRIN Performance exhaust systems are made entirely of 304 Stainless Steel inside and out. 304SS provides high corrosion resistance, and is excellent for extreme heat up to 1800 degrees. Other manufactures and OEMs, will use cheaper 409 stainless steel which will rust and corrode over time but the added expense of 304 stainless steel is well worth the beautiful and long lasting high polish, and durability. PERRIN exhaust systems come in a brushed finish; they also offer a stealth black powder coat option. PERRIN performance exhaust systems features high tech v-band clamps for a perfect exhaust connection. V-band clamps are designed to hold hundreds of pounds of pressure and do so without the need for a gasket! This connection allows for a precise repeatable joint with the ability to rotate each joining connection. This allows for easy installation and alignment adjustments for a perfect fit every time. The equal length design of the PERRIN header, gives you the best of two worlds. Smoother flow of exhaust to the turbocharger allows turbo to spool quicker giving you horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM band. While designed to fit to the factory up-pipe, our header will mate with an OEM or aftermarket up-pipe, as well as any rotated turbo kits compatible with the factory header. PERRIN’s up-pipe inside diameter best matches the OEM exhaust manifold outlet and OEM turbo inlet. This is critical to maintaining exhaust gas velocity increasing turbo spool up. Typically we see 250-350 RPM quicker turbo spool up after installation. Choosing a tube bigger than this can cause the turbo to spool slower. PERRIN exhaust systems are available in Turbo-Back, Engine-Back and Cat-Back designs.

Fuel Systems

PERRIN manufacturers both top feed and side feed fuel rail systems. PERRIN Fuel Rails are designed to deliver large amounts of fuel equally to each cylinder. Consumers with larger injectors will notice the car will idle smoother, and see slight increase in fuel economy. Tuners can run the engine leaner and at a lower injector duty cycle at high load and RPM. Getting more HP and running much safer. They are precision CNC machined from 6061 Billet Aluminum. The fuel hose, barb fittings are a machined piece of each rail eliminating possible fuel leaks. PERRIN fuel rails feature 3/8”ID diameter fuel hose which acts as a pressure dampener and transferring fuel at a high rate then competitive systems. PERRIN hose is a DOT approved rubber fuel injection hose with proper liners for ZERO evaporative emissions. The hose is large enough to support 800WHP. Constructed of rubber helps dampen the fuel against pressure waves and in turn creates a smoother more constant fuel pressure. Their high flow fuel rails use superior Oetiker crimping clamps. Oetiker clamps have a more secure fit since there are no gaps in the seal and will not loosen up over time like traditional worm drive clamps. They are much easier to install with one squeeze of the Oetiker crimping tool. All PERRIN high flow fuel rails come with built-in Phenolic risers. The risers fit between the fuel rail and the engine, insulating the fuel rails from the heat in the engine heads. This keeps fuel at its normal ambient temperature. In contrast, without these spacers you can see fuel temps rise to more than 30 degrees above ambient. Also, PERRIN Pyroshield is included in their fuel line kits. Pyroshield is a heat insulating hose cover used on race cars across the world. The outer silicone cover protects the inner hose from fire, and from extreme heat. A fiberglass inner liner provides another layer of continued protection to 500 degrees. PERRIN PYROSHIELD protects against the extreme heat from the engine bay keeping fuel cooler and preventing the possibility of fuel vaporizing in the fuel lines.

Intake Systems

PERRIN produces Short Ram, Cold Air and MAF intakes. Each system is available in red, black and silver. The PERRIN Performance intake system uses proper MAF alignment and plumbing size, which are crucial to maintain proper air fuel ratios and prevent check engine lights that plague competitors. Their intakes are constructed from aluminum tubing which is precision CNC mandrel bent for consistent and perfect fitting parts. The MAF sensor bung is CNC machined for perfect fit and alignment of MAF sensor to intake. This is crucial for proper air fuel ratios and ECU engine management. PERRIN intakes are designed to increase horsepower and style under your hood. PERRIN also manufactures silicone tubing to ensure proper connections within your intake system.

Intercoolers

The most important part of any intercooler system is the core. The core cools the charge air on the way to the engine. The factory Subaru tube and fin intercooler was designed to be easy to manufacture, but is not good for performance. PERRIN has shown the optimum core design is the 3/8” bar and plate style that has a 3/8” charge air and ambient air path, instead of the common 1/4” size. The PERRIN bar and plate core design is much more durable than tube and fin with the ability to withstand rocks and other debris, which may enter the scoop. The intercooler core is 28” long x 9.25” tall x 3.5” deep with a volume of 906.5 cu-in. Giving the PERRIN intercooler the best overall design for cooling and pressure drop, and it fills the opening of the WRX/STI bumper perfectly! PERRIN boost tubes are CNC mandrel bent from aluminum tubing for better weight reduction. Every boost tube has an over sized beaded end to ensure the hose clamps and couplers stay connected and sealed! We choose to take the smoothest shortest path to get air to and from the intercooler. The PERRIN front mount intercooler kit includes a PERRIN Performance coolant overflow tank. It adds clearance for better boost tube routing, holds more coolant than previous designs and uses the OEM tank cap for a great seal! The PERRIN Performance coolant overflow tank is protected from the elements by a black texture powder coating. The Blow-Thru Boost Tube is intended for use on Subarus which are using aftermarket turbo chargers that can "outflow" the stock intake system. It replaces a PERRIN front mount intercooler boost tube with one that is larger and accepts the factory MAF sensor, relocating it from the intake system to the the boost tube, allowing the ECU to read more air flow, in turn allowing the tuner to tune beyond 550WHP! PERRIN Performance is one of the only intercooler manufactures who pressure tests every intercooler. We pressurize every intercooler to 50 psi. on our special jigs.This ensures you never get a core with a leak!
