Exhaust System

The exhaust is the first step to increasing engine performance and efficiency. OEM systems are manufactured to meet many government guidelines to make more efficient vehicles, while performance exhausts allow for free flow to boost horsepower, torque and overall performance. HKS Exhaust Systems are designed to be both model and application specific. Each individual exhaust is tailored to accommodate engine, chassis, and diameter. HKS Exhausts all feature mandrel bent, bake coated aluminized steel. HKS muffler design is also application specific for torque, horsepower, aesthetics, and sound.

Turbochargers and Superchargers

HKS manufactures some of the most commonly used turbo systems in the industry. Intakes

An intake system is the fastest, least expensive way to increase horsepower and torque. HKS Intake Systems provide the best possible air filtration while also increasing the airflow. HKS Super Mega Flow Reloaded intakes were designed to greatly decrease any airflow restriction.

Suspension

HKS Hipermax Suspension Systems are among the best in the industry. With a mono-tube design, the Hipermax System is designed so that the gas chamber and oil chamber are inside the same cylinder. This greatly reduces aeration and cavitation. Also, compared to twin-tube suspension systems, the valves and piston area can be made larger creating a smoother reaction. The mono-tube design of the HKS Hipermax provides many benefits beyond what has already been mentioned including, but not limited to larger oil capacity, longer damper life, and the ability to be used in an inverted strut type situation for enhanced handling and road contact.

Intercoolers

HKS offers two types of intercooler designs. The HKS S-Type Intercooler Kit comes in two sizes. The 600mm x 301mm x 65mm or a 600mm x 244mm x 65mm. The larger intercooler is rated efficient to 450HP while the smaller is rated for 400HP. The HKS S-Type Intercooler's core was designed to allow pressurized air to quickly pass through with a multiple loop shape on the exterior and a straight through fin design on the interior. The HKS R-Type Intercooler Kit is the largest HKS has to offer measuring 600mm x 302mm x 97mm and rated at a whopping 800HP! This intercooler system provides nearly unrestricted airflow to the radiator and is recommended for any highly modified turbocharged vehicle.

Blowoff / Bypass Valves

HKS Blowoff Valves and Bypass Valves increase the longevity of your turbocharger by relieving compressed air as the throttle closes. This air is then rerouted through the intake system or the atmosphere. This process creates a quicker spool up which in turn increases engine performance. HKS offers four distinct versions of blowoff valves and bypass valves; Standard, Racing, Super SQV, and Super SQV Racing Single Valve.

Meters

HKS Meters are available in 46mm, 52mm, and 60mm as well as three different colors (White, Blue, and Silver). The HKS 52mm meter is only available as a mechanical meter for the time being, but the 46mm and 60mm are available in both mechanical and electronic. The HKS Mechanical Meters come equipped with all the necessary wiring and hardware. The HKS Electronic Meters are constructed to be just as durable as the mechanical meters, but with a variety of features. The 46mm electronic meter is equipped with a built in warning feature that illuminates a face mounted LED in the event that the preset warning level is reached. The 60mm electronic meter is linkable, has a peak-hold feature, and has a 30 second record/playback to monitor and compare engine data.

Electronics

HKS manufactures several performance electronics products that improve the overall performance of your vehicle.

The HKS FCD was engineered to optimize engine performance in turbocharged vehicles. Stock vehicles have a fuel cut level that can cause hesitation and bogging when the vehicle attempts to draw more fuel than specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

The HKS RevAd was developed to allow multiple electronic devices to be controlled by a single 0-5volt signal without distortion.

The HKS CAMP2 system is an all-in-one engine monitoring system that allows users to view up to six readings at the same time while monitoring signals from the OB2 port. Easy installation, multiple user menu options, ECO Drive – for the fuel conscious, remote control, and map editing for all F-CON models is only a fraction of the features available in this management system.

Other HKS Electronics include: HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer), HKS RPM Signal Level Converter, and HKS FIDS (Electronic Idling Stabilizer).
