Performance Flywheel

ACT’s XACT flywheels are designed for better engine response. OEM flywheels are manufactured from heavy cast iron for optimal drivability. Not only are XACT flywheels affordable, but they improve engine response and strength. XACT flywheels are offered in PROLITE and STREETLITE. PROLITE is best suited for road racing and low inertia situations. The PROLITE series offers a quick throttle response, but isn’t intended for the novice driver. The STREETLITE series was designed for street and drag racing. STREETLITE offers both improved throttle response, acceleration and drivability fit for most drivers. The STREELITE series is the most durable flywheel offered by ACT.

Pressure Plate

ACT offers several pressure plate options including Sport, Heavy Duty, Xtreme, Maxx Xtreme, in all factory push, pull, crimp, and rivet designs. ACT’s single diaphragm approach drastically increases clamp load without the adverse effects of double-diaphragm clutch systems. All ACT castings are CNC machined for the accuracy you’d expect from the best. The ACT Sport pressure plate increases load by 20%-40% and gives your pedal a stock to moderately firm feel. The ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate offers a load increase between 20%-50% with a stock to moderately firm feel. The ACT Xtreme pressure plate offers a load increase between 50%-120% with a moderately firm to firm feel. The Maxx Xtreme plate offers an astonishing 70%-150% load increase and feels firm to very firm. Most of the Heavy Duty, Xtreme, and Maxx Xtreme plates meet SFI spec 1.1 to ensure the safety of the driver.

Clutch Alignment Tool

The Advanced Clutch Technology provides an alignment tool with each complete clutch kit and can also be purchased separately. The alignment tool is used to ensure proper installation and balance of your new clutch. Centering the clutch disc is crucial for proper functionality.

Street Discs

Advanced Clutch Technology offers three distinct street discs for your clutch assembly. The Modified provides faster shifting and engagement while offering an increase in strength and reliability due to the high quality friction material used. The Performance street disc is by far the most popular street disc you will find on the road. The premium friction material allots for a higher heat tolerance while providing higher burst strength, quicker shifting, increased strength and reliability. Most ACT Performance street discs meet the SFI specs for safety. The Rigid street disc was manufactured with the minimum required weight for extremely fast shifts. This disc is very precise and reduces the stress on your synchronizers. The burst strength, engagement, and overall performance of this disc is exactly what you'd expect from a brand like Advanced Clutch Technology.

Race Discs

ACT Race Discs are manufactured with premium ceramic friction materials to reduce wear rates and provide the highest heat tolerances in the market today. ACT offers three types of Race Discs. The Spring-Centered Disc is the most popular race disc as it operates quieter through reduced vibration and reduces driveline shock and spline wear with torsional dampeners. This disc is offered with both four pads and six pads. Choose four pads for the quickest shifting and six pads for better heat capacity and engagement. The Rigid Hub Disc consists of stronger hub components. However, with this disc you can expect an increase in gear noise and spline wear. Like the Spring-Centered Disc, the Rigid Hub Disc is also available in both four pad and six pad versions. The Full-Face Sintered Iron Disc provides the highest torque capacity and is the best option available for clutchless shifting or drag race transmissions.
