As the sport compact market grew,
so did the demand for DC Sports products. DC Sports
opened its doors over 14 years ago. Those doors
lead into a 2000 square foot facility that housed
the offices, R&D, Manufacturing and warehouse.
Back then, DC Sports moved headers in the hundreds
per month. Along with those headers DC Sports started
to expand their product line to include exhaust
systems, strut bars and assorted billet parts. It
wasn't long after this expansion that DC Sports
outgrew the building they occupied.. IN 1992 DC
Sports Relocated to a 10,000 square foot facility
just a few miles away from the origianl shop. With
the increase in size, DC Sports was able to increase
production and ass key personnel to the staff. At
the end of the 20th century, with the continuing
growth of the industr, DC Sports found themselves
once again at a loss for space.
In late 2000, construction of their new 60,000 square
foot facility broke ground. Little under a year
later in July of 2001, They moved into the new facility.
Each department was built to their specifications
including a research and Development department,
packaging and warehouseing/shipping and receiveing
department, manufacturing and sales offices. With
the increase in space, DC Sports was able to bring
in-house all aspects of manufacturing including
ceramic coating, polishing, robotic welding and
robotic cutting.
As the market continues to grow and expand, DC Sports
is ready to meet the trends without breaking stride
